Breanna Beal, commonly known as Brea, chose to wear a pink power suit on Monday for the 2023 WNBA Draft in New York.
Beal wore a striking pink jacket, straight-leg pants that matched, and a silver bra-insert top with fringe design to complete her businesswear-inspired ensemble.
The Minnesota Lynx selected the athlete in the draft. On April 4, she posted a message to her loved ones on Instagram to celebrate the news. “I want to thank my teammates and The Freshies for being there for me during the good times and the bad. I’m incredibly appreciative of my family and loved ones for their sacrifices, which have made it possible for me to be in this situation,” Beal wrote.
Beal’s South Carolina teammates Aliyah Boston, Laeticia Amihere, Zia Cooke, and Olivia Thompson are collectively referred to as “The Freshies.”

There are three rounds with twelve choices each in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Draft, which allows WNBA teams to choose new players from both collegiate and professional women’s basketball players. The 2023 draft, which followed a predetermined draft order based on the previous season, took place at Spring Studios in New York City on Monday. Aaliyah Boston, Diamond Miller, Maddy Siegrist, and Stephanie Soares were this year’s top athlete picks.
