Most women would die for their bodies, which they both possess.
Additionally, Extra host Maria Menounos and Smash actress Debra Messing discuss their starkly different perspectives on body image as they go fully nude for Allure magazine’s annual Naked Truth photo session.
The two women are gorgeous in their separate black and white photos, where they are shown wearing minimal jewelry and stretched out sensually on beds.
And although 33-year-old Maria Menounos exquisitely toned body is impossible to pinch, the host of The Extra admits that getting undressed for the camera scares her.
The Dancing With The Stars competitor, who is well-known for her amazing figure, acknowledges that she is terrified of getting too close to the skin.
She told Allure, “I have some serious issues here.” However, I wish to get past that
Maria Menounos
Maria Menounos claims that a very embarrassing occurrence that happened a few years ago is the source of her anxiety.
“When I emerged from the water after being hit by a wave in the ocean two years ago, half of my special area was exposed,” she said to the magazine. “Paparazzi snapped pictures.” It was embarrassing. I believed I was going to pass away.
Smash actor Messing, on the other hand, cheerfully sheds all inhibitions for the gorgeous photo shoot and has no trouble being nude.
“I feel pretty good, but I don’t have the body that three hours of gym work would create,” she told the magazine. “I stand for that.”
The 43-year-old actress claims that over time, her connection with her body has evolved. She and her estranged spouse Daniel Zelman have an eight-year-old kid named Roman.
“You have a different relationship with your body once you pass 40 and have a child,” she stated. I now have a newfound passion for my physique.
Other celebrities that undressed for the magazine’s Body Image story include Heidi Klum, the cover girl, Taraji P. Henson, Leslie Bibb, and Morena Baccarin.
The 38-year-old German beauty, a mother of four, showcased her slender body while keeping her modesty intact by simply using her arms.
She confirmed to the magazine that she is a naturally occurring woman who has never had surgery.
‘I’m proud to be able to say, in this day and age, I haven’t done anything,’ she said to Allure. Everyone has an idea of what is or is not attractive, and [plastic surgery] doesn’t seem attractive to me. Particularly when I witness it in very young females.
It’s like, “Wow, I remember you five years ago, looking so beautiful to me, and now it’s like… who is this person?” I don’t want to mention names. It’s something I know females half my age do. When the proverbial “s*** really hits the fan” at 40 or 50, what are they going to do?
In addition, Heidi talked candidly about her divorce from artist Seal, calling their breakup a “curveball.”
After seven years of marriage, the couple separated in January, and Heidi is still getting used to the new normal in her life.
“Sometimes life throws you a curveball, and then you just figure it out and deal with it,” she said to the magazine. “But that has always been my dream: to have the perfect family, lots of kids, a gorgeous garden, trampolines, swings, and stuff.”
Resuming work: Maria Menounos was spotted at The Grove today on Extra conducting an interview with Smokey Robinson.
“I planned and dreamed about how I wanted things to be, but as we all know, things don’t always work out the way you imagined them.”
Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and 2-year-old Lou are among Heidi’s children with Seal. She also stated that she has no bitterness towards the breakup, which her ex-husband claims was brought on by their growing distance from one another.
“I don’t resent anything that ever happened,” she continued. Things simply transpire in the manner that they do.
On April 24, Allure’s May issue will be available for purchase in the US.
